This strategic interior renovation to a Brookline home included a focus on found space to increase the usable interior of the home. We were able to eliminate a redundant stairwell, chimney, and several hallways to provide an open light filled kitchen and living space. New enlarged windows bring natural light through the home, and thoughtfully placed storage allows the open plan to function as well as it looks. The increased space on the upper level transformed into a laundry room, study, and expanded common bath.
